Missing Grampa

So Haegen's birthday is coming up in a few weeks and with the summer ending, I am really missing my grampa. I found this picture of Haegen with my grama and grampa at his party. They were at almost every single one of my kids birthday party's, with a hug and a card to tell them that they had put money in the savings account's that my grampa had opened for them. If for some reason they didn't make it to the party there was a really good reason why! Now with the summer on the close I realize that there was not any phone call's from my grampa telling me to come and pick up some thing's out of the garden because he had lots of extras. I miss calling their house and hearing him answer the phone and ask how I was doing and how my church calling was going and how proud he was of me.
I miss being able to ask him any question I might have about anything....church, politics, gardening, finances, family, well let's face it ANYTHING!
But, most of all I miss his loving hugs....every single time no matter where he always made sure to greet us with a hug. I am so thankful that I had this wonderful man in my life as a grampa and a wonderful example of a human being.
I am also grateful that I know with out a doubt that I will see him again. I am thankful to know the plan of eternal families so that I know that death is not the end. I will see him again.
Well now that I got all emotional (that was not my intention of this post), I will end with a
We love and Miss you Grampa!!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Braxton and Haegen

This goes out to Braxton.... It has been almost three weeks since he broke his leg and had to be put in a body cast. Haegen is missing him pretty good now. He goes over and plays video games and thing's like that but, they were pretty adventurous. They were the two who would go way down into Grama and Poppy's field exploring!!! So it has been a little tough on Haegen to see Braxton laid up for so long. Haegen says prayer's for Braxi all the time it is so sweet. Haegen is also worried that Braxi won't be better in time for Haegen's birthday party. I think he will just barley be getting his cast off. I was digging threw old pictures that still need scrapbooked and found this one. It is Braxton (i think around 2 years old) holding Baby Haegen (i think around 4 days old). I thought it was such a sweet picture that I had to share it.
So here's to you Brax we hope you get better soon, there are lot's of adventure's waiting for you and Haegen.

Taylor Janessa

These are Taylor's school pictures for sixth grade. Yes I know she is very pretty, I really don't know where she gets it. I guess Rhett and I are a good mix. Well every one says that she looks just like her dad, so good job dad. She will be 12 years old this November. I can not believe that I will have a child that old. I am so glad that she is apart of our family. We love you Taylor.

Ellcie and the Boys

The other day I must have had really board kids. I was in the kitchen doing dishes and Ellcie came in and said look Chauntue', I turned around and just started laughing.
Haegen and Bryce put sticker's all over her face and she let them.
I said oh hurry and go have Taylor take your picture.
She looks like she is really annoyed but she loved it.
Her and Bryce started taking off the stickers.
I can't believe that Bryce is only six months older than Ellcie, he looks like he is so much older, but they are the best of friends.
I hope that they will always stay the best of friends and stay close, and protect each other in this nasty ol' world.

Field Trip to Cobble Rock Park

Bryce had a field trip to the Cobble Rock Park to play in the water. Bryce only ran threw the fountain one time. It was sort of cold that day.
He laid up on the cement to get warm and then draw with chalk.
His most favorite part was running around the cement wall.
He had lot's of fun. I just wish it would have been warmer.

Boys and School

Here are the boys sitting on the swing waiting around for the school bus. I never got a picture of Bryce waiting for the bus so here is some.

Isn't he just so dang cute. He is just to little to be going to school, I wish they would just quit growing up.

Just Like Dad

So I just had to post this picture I think that it is just so funny. They would kill me if they knew I put it out there for all to see. I used to work alot of nights at Days Inn at the front desk and Rhett and Taylor (taylor was four) would get in my bed and watch Shrek like every night and fall asleep and I would come home and move Taylor to her bed. Well this was just a picture that I could not pass up. I was going threw old pictures that are waiting to get scrapbooked and found it. They still sleep just the same. Next I will have to get a picture of Rhett and Bryce they both like to sleep with their hands behind their head, you know like they are just kicking back. That is really funny to see also.

Taylor and Nichelle Friend's for Life

Taylor and Nikki are only two months apart so they have been best friends ever since they were born. For those of you who don't know Nikki is Taylor's Aunt. Funny huh. Try being pregnant the same time as your mom. It's pretty interesting.

Just Taylor

So I was going threw some of my old post's and thought there are alot on the boys and not a whole lot on Taylor. Don't' get me wrong she is not neglected. This child has like four scrapbook's all her own for the first 2 years of her life. This is a picture of me and Taylor when she was 2 years old. I don't think she was very excited to be doing pictures. But even a grouchy face on her is cute.
This is my second younger sister, Amanda, she always had Taylor and Nikki following her every move it was so funny.
Then Amanda and Taylor on a horse at some Ranch. I didn't get to go because I was working. Taylor spent alot of time with my family when she was younger.
Then Amanda and Taylor, after church. Taylor was nine. She spent alot of time with Amanda, they had a close connection. Amanda was like her little mommy sometimes.
Then Taylor I think she was three or four, and yes I always had her hair that big!!! She was my only child for six years so she always looked super cute, and had big hair.
This should go with the picture of me and her but I am not going to try to move it, I'm not that blogsmart.
Just Taylor looking cute as always. She was nine.
Then Taylor and her dad at my little brother's wedding reception in Bountiful. Take a good look people that is probably the only time you will ever see Rhett that dressed up. He looks pretty HOT, if I do say so myself.
Then we have Taylor and Nikki (Nikki is my little sister that is the same age as Taylor if you didn't already know), they were at Dillon's Wedding Reception in town. Props to Lindsay on this picture she was the photographer at this reception. Isn't it super cute.
Well there are just some fun picture's of my one and only baby girl she is just growing up so fast and is becoming a beautiful young woman. My wish for her is to always remember who she is and that she is the Daughter of a King who loves her very much, and she deserves the world.
I love you T.J.

Stressed Out But Loving It

Ok so I so do not understand how women do it. By it.... I mean run the kids, pay the bills, shopping, church calling's, laundry and not to mention keeping the house clean!!!!! I am so exhausted by the end of the day I just want to crawl into bed.

Thinking back I remember thinking that Wal-Mart was the high light of my life and I couldn't wait for pay day just so I would have something to do. Now I think oh I wish I could be board for a day. Three kids are alot of work. Don't get me wrong I love them to death and would not trade them for anything and I would do it all over again. I am trying to enjoy each and every busy day because I know that they won't last and I will be all old and wishing for those busy days. I will be wishing for the noise and the uncontrollable laughter when they are supposed to be going to sleep. Wishing for that "mom i'm hungry" right when they are crawling into bed after their teeth have been brushed. Hearing the "oh mom I forgot that I still have some homework" right when I think that I can relax.

I am truly grateful for my kids, Taylor is so sweet and mature. She is the best big sister that I know. She will play with the boys and also take care of them. She is nice to everyone mostly because she is so shy. Haegen is so sweet and very spiritual. He is always up to helping who ever he can. He will surprise me with cleaning his room, or doing anything like that. The other day my car was full of items from the case lot sale at Smith's and he brought every one in for me. Don't ask me how he did it he is super tough. Bryce always keeps me laughing. He is so funny and you can tell he is the baby of the family. He knows how to get the other two, to do his work for him. He always tell's me "mommy you my baby". Or he will come running in from outside see me and yell hi baby and keep doing what he was doing. I guess it's from all the times I said "Bryce you are my little baby."
So all in all I have the best kid's in the whole world. I know all you mom's out there will beg to differ..... But, I know I love my kids.

First Day of School

Well here is my baby Bryce. He was trying to be interested in posing for the picture but he was trying to hurry and get in dad's truck for the first day of pre-school. Haegen was the same way trying to hurry up he was excited for his first day of Kindergarten.
Here is Haegen and Derik waiting for the bus. I think that Haegen would have let me take him to school but he knew that Derik was going to ride the bus so he went that way, which was fine with me. He gets to have second thoughts once he gets there...well in preschool he did. I am just glad that he has Derik to go with. It makes it alot easier.
They ran right on the bus and took off.
Here is Bryce coming home from pre school.
Isn't he just sweet!!!!!

Bryce said that he had a good day at school, i think that it was just like he went right back no big deal.
Haegen first said that he liked his old school better it was funner, then 2 sec. later he said well no I like my knew school it was fun.
So I am so glad that they like to go to school, verses a year ago having Mrs. Anita hold them while I jetted to the door trying not to cry and thinking oh they don't need this I'll just take them home with me so they are not upset. Yeah I know, i'm a push over and they know it.

Dove Hunting

Well my big fun Labor Day consisted of Dove Hunting. I know so much fun for me huh! Well here are the to boys showing off the big find, they were so excited. Rhett told them that they would eat them and they did and loved them yuck! No... I did not eat any I just couldn't bring myself to. I know that if Rhett would have just told be it was chicken then I wouldn't have even known but...I knew.

Bryce was really interested in looking at them, all I could think about is I couldn't get his hands washed fast enough. Rhett says that I baby them to much but let me tell you even if I do it hasn't made a difference......They are still BOYS, and I mean BOYS.
Ellcie couldn't figure out if it was gross or interesting, it was so funny. She is a girl alright.

Every time Rhett got out the boys were close behind. All in all they had a really good day. They can't wait for dad's day's off so they can go again.
