As you could tell Taylor is in none of the pictures.  She was there just busy chatting with her bff's Nikki and Harlee.  We had a good day, I just wish I would have got a family picture.  We don't do those enough because I hate pictures, but I am trying to get over it.

My brother Keaton who is on an LDS Mission also emailed Haegen his testimony on Baptism.  We read it during the meeting.  Keaton is such a prankster that he sent it in Spanish saying that Dillon could translate it.  Dillon went to Brazil for his mission and learned Portuguese.  Well if you know Portuguese then you can understand most Spanish but he was so busy working that week that we were worried.  Luckily my B.F.F. Joey's brother Wyatt learned Spanish on his mission and translated it for us.  So thanks again Wyatt.

Haegen 2010

Haegen is growing into such a young man. He was baptised this year and he started scouts. He is the best little helper around and he always wants to help who ever he can.

Haegen's Baptism

Haegen had his birthday on Friday the 15th and we Baptized him the next day. We decided to do it this way because Rhett would be working for the Stake Baptisms and we didn't want to wait to long.

It was a really nice day. Most of our family was there. Haegen was not nervous or scared at all. He was really cute about the whole thing. My little brother Dillon Baptized him and My dad Confirmed him. Dillon bought him a suite for his big day and he looked like a handsome little missionary. It was so funny to watch the little cousins faces when they opened the curtain to the fount. They were in awe. Dillon has a 2 year old and he thought it was really neat. The spirit was really strong. I'm always so grateful when we have these opportunities and when the spirit is strong, because Rhett doesn't go to church every week and I love it when he can feel the spirit like that. He knows that the church is true and everything and he promotes Family Home Evening and Family prayer but he would rather go hunting or fishing then to Sunday church. So this day was good on all accounts. Rhett went into the dressing room to help Haegen and we had a good day. One person that was greatly missed was my grandpa Mecham. But I know that he was there in spirit and that he is truly happy that Haegen choose to get Baptized. I also know that my grandpa is thankful that I was diligent in getting my children to church so that they can learn and make the right decisions.

The Sunday before all this Rhett was gone working and the boys were not in the mood to sit through Sacrament and I had to get after them. When I was sitting in class thinking oh my heck why do I even bother, (doing the pity pot thing) it came to me so strong, I pictured Haegen getting Baptized and a voice said "this is why you bother."

I know that the church is true and I have faith that if I keep doing the things that I need to do and if I am diligent in teaching my children the right paths then eventually Rhett will join me in church and then in the temple.

Well I sort of got off on Haegen's day. So any way he has been going to scouts now and loves it so much. He got his book and was doing all the things he could to pass them off.

I will post pictures of his big day when I get them from my brother. Of course I couldn't find my camera that day, come to find out it got kicked under my couch and we found it two days later.

Haegen Turns 8

Wow I can not believe that my little guy is eight years old. He is such a cutie pie. Well his birthday was on a Friday, so he had a friend party that day. Thank goodness he has alot of cousins because it was fall break week end and only 2 friends from school showed up to his party. But I don't even think that he noticed because he had all his cousins there.

So he partied it up on Friday and he got a new bmx bike from us and lots of fun things from everyone else. He had lots of fun.

The Cat In The Hat

So the elementary did a Dr. Seuss week and of course I thought about it till Wednesday then forgot that they could dress up on Friday. So here is the cat in the hat 30 min. before the bus was supposed to come. Not bad for a last min. project.

Haegen's Christmas Program

What a handsome little devil if I say so myself. It was his Kindergarten Christmas program last week and it was so cute.

He looks tired in this one. He probably was he is not a good sleeper.

Hear they said why they have been good this year and Haegen said "I have been good this year because I help unload wood out of my Grandpa's truck". Ahhh what a good kid, and he did Rhett's dad couldn't believe that he was such a good helper so young.

Then he got to say what he wanted Santa to bring him.

Haegen's Friend Party

Haegen had his friend birthday party. He had so much fun. Here they were going to have a balloon race.

All in all they had a good time and let me tell you that boys are wild.

So my little sister Amanda came home for the baby blessing this weekend. She is so busy with school that she did not get here until late evening Saturday night. She wanted some pictures of the kids to take home with her, well Bryce was tired and ornery and Taylor and Nikki were being typical teenage girls, so Haegen and Ellcie were all for it and they loved it. Also I was the photographer I'm really impressed with myself. I'm sure that the camera had alot to do with it. hahaha. Here is Haegen and Rolex that dog loves to think it is a baby.

Haegen's 6th Family BIrthday Party

So all Haegen has been asking for sense Bryce had his birthday was a new bike. So that is what he got. He was excited.Here is his bike.

Of course Taylor had to try it out also. She said that is the kind of bike she wanted she can be such a tomboy sometimes.

I had to show off my new creation's just an empty soup can and ribbon from the Dollar Tree and woala cute silverware holder's.
Present time, he told Grandma Ila that he wanted a bow and arrow, so she looked high and low at wal-mart for one, and found it. She never disappoints.

He got money from Grandma and Grandpa Pete, Aunt Beverly, Nick and Taija (and lot's of candy from Nick and Taija). Thanks a bunch everyone.

Well Haegen was really excited about that. I didn't get a picture of him with it because they took it out to shot it then Rhett locked it in his gun safe before I remembered to get a picture and now I'm to lazy and tired to go and get it. So here you go Aunti Amanda even though you couldn't be here you can see what we did. We missed you

Ellcie and the Boys

The other day I must have had really board kids. I was in the kitchen doing dishes and Ellcie came in and said look Chauntue', I turned around and just started laughing.

Haegen and Bryce put sticker's all over her face and she let them.

I said oh hurry and go have Taylor take your picture.

She looks like she is really annoyed but she loved it.

I can't believe that Bryce is only six months older than Ellcie, he looks like he is so much older, but they are the best of friends.
I hope that they will always stay the best of friends and stay close, and protect each other in this nasty ol' world.
