Sick of the Snow

Yuck! Just when all the snow was disappearing we get this over night. All this and they didn't close the school's until it was time for Haegen to go to afternoon kindergarten.
I know we need the moisture but I'm real sick of being cold.

Choose the Right huh Mom!?!?!

So after a long at church and Bryce being very difficult we had a funny moment at home. When we got home Bryce said,"mom can I play my D.S." and I said,"no you were not good in primary today. So then Haegen said "well can I play mine I was good" which he usually is he really likes to learn. But I had to say "no because you played Halo at Braxton's and you know that you are not supposed to, so you are grounded from yours and going to play at Braxton's." Then Bryce says, "ya Haegen you have to Choose the Right huh mom."

It was pretty cute. So for all of his Primary teachers who get frustrated with him Thank you it is sinking in, and he must be listening while having his fits.

Happy Birthday to Me

Wow I really am a blog slacker. I just do not have anything to blog about, plus I read on Kristi's blog about a new web site called ldsjournal.com and I love it. So I have been doing that everyday. It is private so you can just write your thoughts and you can even have it printed into a book when your done, so thanks for sharing the info Kristi.
Well on Wednesday I turned 32 wow I can't believe that I am that old. It was a good day. I woke up to a super flat tire, Rhett when to work and happened to take his truck keys so I was stranded until his dad came to help me with it. Then Joey and I went to our annual birthday lunch.... thanks Jo. Then I went to Presidency meeting for like two hours. Went to check on my Grandma in the hospital but I didn't get to see her because she was back in xray, but no worries she is home now.
So it was a typical adult birthday. Thanks to all my friends and family that called and emailed my happy birthdays. I love you all.

Happy Birthday Braxton

Happy 8th Birthday Braxton. I remember when you were born and I would come over and hold you all the time. You always wanted to go with me when you were older. I hope that we always stay close. I love you.

Nothing New

Well nothing new to report. I have parent teacher conferences tonight and tomorrow night. I got Enrichment night over with last night and it was a hit. We played a get to know you game that was so much fun. We all got to know each other better and it was really alot of fun. I wish more people could have been there to have fun with us. We are starting a new preparedness mini class that i am excited for and it should be Lot's of fun.
I have my pre-ordered Twilight DVD ordered from amazon. Yes, I know I'm pathetic and I need to get a life. Well that is about all that I have going on.

Another One of Taylor's First's

Yesterday Taylor was set apart as the 1st Counsler in her Beehive class. I am so excited for her to experience all the joys of the Young Women program. I know that she will love it, and it will help her testimony to grow.

Family Weekend

So at the last min. on Friday we decided to load up the kids and go get Rhett's sheep that was finished out of town. We don't travel very much and so we thought oh we'll go and spend the night and let the kids swim. They had lot's of fun. Here is the finished product.... ugly huh. lol With a mega hunter for a husband I really need a guys room to put all the ugly mounts and deer horns that he has.

Haegen slept most of the way out which means he was up all night at the hotel. He can not have naps at all. I woke up at 1:30 in the morning and he was still wide awake watching t.v.

So the first night all we did is eat and let the kids swim.

Then the next day we went to the mall, got the boys and Rhett's hair cut and went to Chucky Cheese. They had lot's of fun. I think Rhett had just as much fum. We need one here.

Right after that we headed home. It was not a big adventure but they had fun.

Back on Schedual

I am so glad that we are back on schedule. My kids have not complained once about going back to school. Bryce was more than happy to go, it was quite funny. He pretty much ran for the bus when it came. When he woke up this morning he said mom do I have school today and I said yes and he said yes! I love school. He usually says ohhh I don't want to go to school. So I am just happy that all is back to normal. Vacations are exhausting.

Days Off...Finally

This has been the longest two weeks ever. Rhett will finally start his two weeks off tomorrow, and I am so excited. You never know what you have until you don't have it. I have realized how much he does help me out. Haegen has always been the biggest daddy's boy out of all three of my kids. He starts to act up when he does not get enough dad time, so I can't wait until he gets some dad time. Thank goodness for good dad's and hubby's.

Freezing

Oh wow it is so cold. Right now my computer says that it is four below. I swear my heater kicked on all night long last night. I just had to complain about the weather because usually the cold does not bother me but this year I just can not get warm. Either it is way cold or I'm getting to be a boob in my my old age.
So on a better note we are studying the Doctrine and Covenants in Gospel Principle class this year so my new year's resolution is to study the book diligently at home as well as at church.
Well there is my little bit for the day. Now I need to go and get the boys ready for school yeah, how excited am I..... very, very excited. My kids like to have the normalcy of a schedule so hopefully this will fix all the little fights and temper tantrums we have had this past week.

Tooth Fariy Update

So as I had predicted I did forget about the tooth fairy. I heard Rhett get in the shower this morning at 7:30 and thought oh i need to tell him Haegen lost his tooth then I thought OH CRAP! I forgot, so I jumped up and did what I needed to and went and got back in bed to be lazy. An hour later he came in to show me that the tooth fairy came and he was excited.
What is it about me forgetting the important things. I'm just glad to know I'm not the only mom who forgets lol, Thank goodness for blogging world, so we can read about every one's funny stories and feel good that we are not the only one who is not perfect.

Gameaholic's...Crazy Hair and Lost tooth

So now I remember why I never bought my kids the video games..... They all got a Nintendo DS for Christmas and I already hate them. My kids are very out going and like to be moving well not this week. I have decided that Bryce is the worst one of all. He would sit there and play it for as long as I would let him. So im thankful for the gun safe so I can lock them up and make them go out and play, and do their chores. Taylor was bit board and decided to do her hair crazy.... cue the book for her to read, ya right.

Haegen lost his first tooth, I think with the help of, he bit something and it got caught in between his teeth and he pulled hard and then his tooth was lose lol

Thank goodness I am doing this tonight because I would have forgot to call the tooth fairy and tell her he lost his tooth! Which he really did loose it somewhere tonight he was caring it every where and then said mom where's my tooth? I said I don't know where was the last place you had it and he can't remember and gets really upset. I told him the tooth fairy will come anyway.

So that is our big New Year Day. Nothing to crazy, just missing my hard working hubby. He is on his 8th night of working night's. His new job requires him to work 14 days straight, and when that is nights we don't really get to see him. But, we are blessed to have a job.
