The Things Bryce Says

Oh my goodness Bryce says some of the funniest things.  I need to start writing them down right when he ways them and not wait because I forget by the time I get to journal it.
Yesterday was:
Bryce: " mom will you go to Cal- Ranch and buy me a toy?"
me: "no sorry"
Bryce: "but mom don't you love me?"
me: "uhhhh well I must love you because I gave you $5.00 two day ago to buy the hot wheels you wanted at Walgreens."
He didn't have much to say after that.  He has had a little problem with some swear words that yes I hate to admit he get's it from me and Rhett.  So I have been really watching my mouth, ya know just the simple everyday swear words (not that it right haha) well the past few nights he has been saying in his bedtime prayers to help him not to swear and that he is trying hard.  Then he prayed that his dad would be safe at work and not drop a really heavy thing on his finger again (that happened like a year ago but he still remembers).  Then he blessed that dad won't get girlfriends because he is married. lol  (Rhett always teases Bryce about having a girlfriend so Bryce told Rhett that he had a g.f. and Rhett said he couldn't have g.f.s because he was married."  Then Bryce went on to pray that Taylor would not find a boyfriend because she is not old enough.  I love it when they get to the age where there prayers are so good and you are just floored by some of the things that they come up with.

Thursday March 17th

Well yet again I am a big ol blog slacker.  Not to much has been going on.
Bryce had his tonsils out a month ago.  He did great.  He never complained, I had to make him just sit and relax.  The day he got them out he was trying to run around and play.  After he had them out and was back to school one of the moms who help in his class told me that she thinks his speech is alot clearer.  I have to agree with her it is a strange thing what tonsils can do.  He has a little friend in his class named Chance, he comes home all the time and tells me that Chance is his B.F.F. it is so funny to talk to Bryce he always has something funny to say.
Haegen did the Pine wood derby and had alot of fun.  Rhett was worried that it would at least make it to the finish line but it finish 1st in one race and 2nd in a couple and 3rd and 4th once.  So all in all he did great and he had a good time doing it with his dad.
Well on to Rhett, his company has changed their work schedule to 14 day on and 14 days off.  They did that because they are working 8 hours away now in Wyoming.  He had his first 2 weeks off last weeks and started his 2 weeks on today.  So we will see how this will go.  On a happy note he has been 23 days with out a chew!!!  I am so happy that he finally made this decision.  He has done great with it.  He has gone threw alot of sunflower seeds and gum, gained 15 pounds but he is doing it.  I was thinking today as I was getting ready to sub that just that one choice in his life has already affected how he acts and how me and him get along.  He seems more at peace and happy, (not the first week a a half trust me I wanted to hill him).  But even he and I seem closer.  At least I can kiss him when ever I want now. haha.
Well Taylor is the same not anything new to report on her.  She is doing really good in school and is liking her new young women's more and more.  She would like some babysitting jobs to make some extra money so anyone out there who needs a babysitter let her or me know.  She is good at it, lots of practice with babies with two little brothers and she is the oldest of 7 nieces and nephews.
Well that is all I have for now so I will add pictures when I get home to my computer.

A Little Of This and A Little Of That

I have been so behind on my blogging that I just threw a few pictures in this one.  This is the boys first day of school.  Bryce in Kindergarten and Haegen in 2nd grade.

 Rhett's wall of horns and shed's.  I talked him into letting me paint them black.  I said if I have to have them up there and I at least try something different with them?  He actually agreed.

Kids before church.  I have to do pictures before church because if I wait until after then Bryce will be halfway undressed.  Sacrament is first and he losses his tie and shoes.  I make him put his shoes back on before primary, then after primary he has his tie, jacket and vest off.  He does not like to dress up.  As soon as he hits the door after school he is shedding his Levi's and socks and shoes to be replaced with his jogging pants.

As you could tell Taylor is in none of the pictures.  She was there just busy chatting with her bff's Nikki and Harlee.  We had a good day, I just wish I would have got a family picture.  We don't do those enough because I hate pictures, but I am trying to get over it.

My brother Keaton who is on an LDS Mission also emailed Haegen his testimony on Baptism.  We read it during the meeting.  Keaton is such a prankster that he sent it in Spanish saying that Dillon could translate it.  Dillon went to Brazil for his mission and learned Portuguese.  Well if you know Portuguese then you can understand most Spanish but he was so busy working that week that we were worried.  Luckily my B.F.F. Joey's brother Wyatt learned Spanish on his mission and translated it for us.  So thanks again Wyatt.

There was the cutest little spot with a fire pit to roast marshmallows. The kids thought that it was so cool.

Cabin 2010

 My mom wanted to do something fun this year for my dad's birthday.

So she decided to rent this big cabin for all of us to go and stay at.

 The day we went out Rhett had just got off of working 7 nights.  He drove in

from work and we loaded up everything and the 4wheelers and took off.

So he was really tired once we got all settled.  He even fell asleep on the couch with 

all the kids running and screaming around.

 This was the master bath.  Now that is my way of camping.

 This doesn't happen very often, Rhett holding a baby.  Kids just love him, but I think he is scared of babies.  My nephew Breken is the most lovable baby ever.  He never cries and he likes Rhett.

 Breken's brother Carver was out playing in this puddle.  He was so funny.  His dad was supposed to be watching him but while he had his back turned helping Amanda Carver took a chance at getting wet.



Bryce loved to go and look at the horses that they had there.
