Tiger League Wrestling

So the boys did the Tiger league this year and they liked it but can I say I totally hated every min. of it. I hope I can talk them out of it next year. Haegen did really good right off the bat Bryce had a hard time figuring out the moves but came out of the gate at the end.
Bryce got to where he would make these phyco faces and act like he was out for blood. It was a little scary to see how much a spot could change your child. Bryce is more competitive and you could tell. Haegen was good at it to. He is such a tough little guy, he said he almost made someone cry and felt bad.

At first I thought oh my heck I hope my boys don't hurt anyone, then after the first practice I thought Wow I hope my boys don't get hurt. Talk about some tough kids in this sport.

My Busy Life

Wow I feel so busy lately. This week has been crazy. I really do not know how mom's work 40 hours a week all the time. This week I subbed at the Middle School in the Special Ed self contained unit, which I love. These kids are great. Don't get me wrong it's tuff the people who do this all the time are great but it is very rewarding. Anyway it has worn me out. (enter the pity party lol). Getting kids up and to the grandma's every morning, go to work, worry if Bryce gets to preschool, round up all kids after school run home, get dinner, go to wrestling practice, run home, shower boys, get them a snack, read books, do homework, put to bed, clean up, get everything ready for the next day, then drop dead in my bed. So those mom's who do this everyday, hat's off to you. I don't know how you do it.
So now here are a few updates.
My dad had surgery on his ankle this last Monday and is home now and doing good.
New baby Breken Kevin Manwaring is doing great, so is his big brother Carver.
Keaton is getting ready to leave for his misson on the 17th, and Rhett's grandma is still in the care center but she might be coming home in the next week. Medicare doesn't want to pay any more. Insurance.....can't live without it but it sure gives you a headache.
Well now that I have board everyone with this post..... I'm out.

Freedom

So we got a pretty good tax return back this year because we were so poor last year. lol I still don't understand tax's . All I know is that I have to pay them and hope to get some back.
Well anyway we took it and paid off my car, got new tires for Rhett and my car's paid off a credit card, and over Christmas we took our bonus and paid off our four wheeler. I feel so good!!! Now I really understand how the prophet talks about debt being a jail. You do feel so trapped when you have debt, and it is so freeing to get things paid off. I am thankful that we have been able to do this. Now we can really start putting money away for those rainy days. I can't believe the difference in Rhett to, he seems like a load has been lifted from his shoulders which it has.

His mom and dad are still trying to decide on a name so as soon as I hear that I will also put it down.

Sitting Here

Well I had to sub for my uncle today at the High School and they were doing testing this morning and he didn't have anyone to come in and test so I thought I would blog.
Rhett grandma is doing tons better they moved her out of I.C.U. and put her in a regular room, and that is about all I know right now.
I got a call to sub for the special ed at the middle school in March for two weeks. I am really excited. I subbed there for four days a couple months ago and I absolutely loved every min. of it. I totally fell in love with all of them. I have really thought about going into special education. I know most people feel uncomfortable around special needs children but I just love them. I nannied (don't know if that's a word or not) for a little girl in Colorado before I got married and I loved it.
So there is my thought for the day. Oh brain storm maybe I will start to do a thought for the day on my blog. I always feel like in order to blog I need pictures and a cool or funny going on's but that will be my New Year Resolution to do a thought for the day on my blog.

Update

Wow I am just a blog slacker. I used to love to update on my blog all the time and now I hardly get a chance to blog stalk anyone.
Well not a whole lot of new going on in the Peterson house.
Rhett's grandma is in the hospital right now. They thought she wouldn't make it through the night on Saturday, but as of today they moved her out of intensive care and she is doing alot better.
I had my 33rd birthday last two weeks ago. I still can not believe that I am 33. Oh well guess I better get used to it. I'm not getting any younger. lol
I had a good birthday, had lot's of birthday wishes from all my friends on face book. My dad had pizza and cake for me, and that was about all, but what else could I ask for.
I have slowed up a little on subbing. Not that I don't get the chances or not that I don't want to but, Bryce has needed me a little bit more. He goes to a specialized preschool for his speech. A month ago they diagnosed him with Perceptual Vision Disorder. You are probably thinking what's that. It is a form or dyslexia. They told me that he would have to do vision therapy and it is about as expensive as braces. So i'm thinking great. Well first of all I made him an eye apt. with my Pediatric Optomitrist in Orem. The one who has treated Taylor's ambleopia. When I first told him what the school said he said what is that. So I explained it to him. I was getting worried because he is one of the top in his field and if he didn't know what it was I was in trouble. So I told him that I googled it and it said that they treat it with 3D glasses. He said okay now I know what your talking about. They want you to do vision therapy? I said yes. He said NO! It is really expensive and it has never been proven to even work. He said that if they want to offer it to him free go for it. But, don't pay for it. So I am glad that I took him to my eye doc. before I started putting all this money into something that has not been proven to work. Well anyway, he said that Bryce's eye's are perfect and my next step it to have him evaluated by a Nero phys. So that has been my next step and it has been a joke. I just want someone to point me in the right direction.
So any way that is my little story on that I have probably board you all to death.
