Haegen's Friend Party

Haegen had his friend birthday party. He had so much fun. Here they were going to have a balloon race.
Notice Haegen falling on the ground.
Then it was time to open presents. He loved everything he got.
Then it was off to pull the strings on the pinata.
Then we had enough kids to play Red rover Red rover.
All in all they had a good time and let me tell you that boys are wild.

Cute Pictures

So my little sister Amanda came home for the baby blessing this weekend. She is so busy with school that she did not get here until late evening Saturday night. She wanted some pictures of the kids to take home with her, well Bryce was tired and ornery and Taylor and Nikki were being typical teenage girls, so Haegen and Ellcie were all for it and they loved it. Also I was the photographer I'm really impressed with myself. I'm sure that the camera had alot to do with it. hahaha. Here is Haegen and Rolex that dog loves to think it is a baby.
Amanda, Haegen and Ellcie

It is pretty hard to get the kids to sit still

Amanda and Haegen are the artist's in the family they love to draw together. They had a big sidewalk chalk mural.
Bryce decided he would take a picture for mommy but not with anyone else.
Those eyes are as blue as the sky,

Ellcie was being a great big sister helping her baby brother around, we let him out to play and he thought he was super cool.

Haegen's 6th Family BIrthday Party

So all Haegen has been asking for sense Bryce had his birthday was a new bike. So that is what he got. He was excited. Here is his bike.

Here is Rhett (my third boy) testing it out trying to do a wheelie. That is hard work for a old man like him, just kidding.
Of course Taylor had to try it out also. She said that is the kind of bike she wanted she can be such a tomboy sometimes.
Here are his skeleton cupcakes, he wanted a Halloween party.
and his pumpkin cake, yes I know even Rhett said I was slacking on the cake department. He said it was not as good as the others. I didn't know he even paid attention. lol
I had to show off my new creation's just an empty soup can and ribbon from the Dollar Tree and woala cute silverware holder's.
Present time, he told Grandma Ila that he wanted a bow and arrow, so she looked high and low at wal-mart for one, and found it. She never disappoints.

He got money from Grandma and Grandpa Pete, Aunt Beverly, Nick and Taija (and lot's of candy from Nick and Taija). Thanks a bunch everyone.

Taylor and Bryce got him this remote control car that don't worry they all fight over. (I knew they would).
Taylor, Haegen and Stryker getting ready for Haegen to blow out the candles.
Make a wish!!!!!!!!!!!
Then little Luke, you got to love those eye's.
Uncle Keaton, walked in with a Red Rider BB gun. Oh yes that was the winner of the night. I always said I would not get them one until they were 8 years old. Well Haegen was really excited about that. I didn't get a picture of him with it because they took it out to shot it then Rhett locked it in his gun safe before I remembered to get a picture and now I'm to lazy and tired to go and get it. So here you go Aunti Amanda even though you couldn't be here you can see what we did. We missed you

Happy Birthday Haegen

Happy 6th Birthday my little Haegen. You are growing up to be such a sweet young man. It seems like just yesterday I was bringing you home from the hospital. This is my favorite picture of you, you are just so adorable. Here you are on your blessing day with your wonderful big sister and Aunt Nikki. You are such a cute baby.

Your big sister always liked to take you into her bed room and try to read you a book before bed. She always took such good care of you. You two are six years apart and so close. She loves you so much.
I can't believe the way Taylor carried you around taking care of you she seems so little in this picture.
Here is the three of you on Easter.
Here you are with your big sister and your new baby brother, Bryce.
You love your daddy so much, you always would crawl up to him and want him to hold and snuggle with you. It was so sweet. I love this picture you can tell how much you love your daddy.

You were always so good with your baby brother even tho you were only 19 months older then him you took very good care of him. I guess your sister taught you well.
A few years latter and your still best buds.
Here is your 5th birthday, you had a great day.
This is your last years school picture, I can't wait to get your new ones I just love to see how you have grown in just a year.
Sense you are going to be Six years old I thought I would tell you six things that I love about you so here goes now remember mommy is not very good with words.
1. I love the way you are always willing to help anyone around. You always amaze anyone you are helping with the ability you have to get hard things done that only older kids should be able to do. I know that you will grow up to be a hard worker.
2. I love your eagerness to learn. You are always willing to read when ever. You will drop anything you are doing just to read a book. I am so glad that you take such an interest in the gospel. I know that one day you will grow up and be a fabulous missionary and touch the hearts of all the people you will teach.
3. I love the way you come into me and give a kiss and tell me how much you love me and you will hold my hand. I hope that you will never feel like you are to grown up to show your mommy how much you love her. I also love the way I will ask you how your day was and you will ask me right back how mine was.
4. I love the way you love your brother and sister. You are so close with both of them and they know how much you love them to. You have the biggest heart a six year old could have.
5. I love the way you take care of your Great- Grandma Peterson. You will go up to her house and ask her what she needs help with, you will pull her weeds for her and do anything else she asks of you. She told me that one day she was walking up her porch and you walked up to her and took her hand and asked if she wanted you to hold her cane so she could hold on to the rail. That meant so much to her that you were so thoughtful of her needs.
6. Last but not least. I love that you are a part of our family and that you show mommy, daddy, Taylor and Bryce each and every day your countenance shinning through, I love how you try your hardest to do what is right and to be a good example to your dad, and tell him every week how he needs to go to church with you. You don't ever say I don't want to go to church I want to stay home with dad, you always just say dad you should go to church with us.
Happy Birthday Haegen you are the best most wonderful Six year old on the whole earth and we love you so very much. We hope you have a great birthday and have many more great and wonderful birthdays to come.
We Love You, Love Mommy
XOXOXOXOXO

Be Grateful

Be grateful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be grateful when you don't know something for it gives you the opportunity to learn something new.

Be grateful for each new challenge, because it will build your strength.

Be grateful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvements.

Be grateful for you mistakes, they will teach you valuable lessons.

It's easy to be grateful for the good things;

A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also grateful.

Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.

Find a way to be grateful for your troubles, and they can become your positives.

Carver's Blessing

Today my little brother blessed his baby boy. It was a great day filled with love, family, and the spirit. It is so nice to hear my little brother stand up and give such a wonderful blessing to his little boy. We all met after at my mom and dad's to eat and just hang out. It was a good day. We even drug Braxton in his body cast up to my mom's so they could be a part of the family day. I know that my brother and sister got some great picture's of the day that I will have to get from them and post later. The only person that I really missed but still felt his presence's was my sweet grandpa. It was strange not to look up and see him in the blessing circle. He is greatly missed by all of us.

Congratulations Carver for being blessed and for getting two great parent's who will always teach you strong in the gospel. We love you

Calgon Take Me Away

So nothing really new to write about, just that I think I need a long..... vacation. My boys have either been best friends or worst enemies. I don't know what is going on but they like to be worst enemies lately. Bryce came up to me and said I don't' want to play with Haegen he's not my best friend Ellcie is (my niece), then Haegen will go and cry to me that Bryce won't play in the sand box with me. Then Haegen will not play with Bryce when Bryce wants him to. CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?

Then my sister took my poor little nephew who is in the body cast to the Doctor. It was six weeks yesterday. Well...... the Doctor came in ready to cut the cast off and Braxton said "are you going to x-ray it first (that is what we told him would probably happen), so the doc said oh ya let's do that....duhhhhh, So they x-rayed it and the doc said that they could cut it off that day but he has a 50% chance of a re-break even if he just gets up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. WHAT!!!!! 50%, or you can leave it on for another two weeks to make sure it is stronger. Well as you can guess what any decent thinking parent would say. Leave it on. She did not want to start all over with another re brake. She has really been a trooper through it all. She has not had much help at all her hubby is super great at helping when he is home. He works in the oilfield so you can imagine how he is gone alot, and it's not the 7 days on 7 days off sort or work. He usually works 7 days a week. Now remember she has a 3 year old girl who is super helpful and patient with her mom's time and loves to come to my house to play, and a 17 months old boy who has been the most perfect baby in the whole world..... till now he has started his terrible two's. He is so funny but he can throw a fit when he want's to. He wanted to go with me the other day and it was dinner time and he threw a fit. I thought it was funny and was good for my ego knowing how much he loves his Aunti but his mom was just tired and not in the mood.
Well any way she has been great through it all she deserves a long cruise or something. (good thing you and Quin are doing what your doing Hillary ) wink..wink. Braxton has been really good to. He has not complained once about being board or whining about not being able to do anything. He has just sat there and been great. It has been a real blessing for them to have such great kid's through it all.

I am so super tired tonight. My mom and dad bought new couches so they asked me if I wanted their old ones (which are only three years old if that), so Rhett and I were rearranging and cleaning all day. My friends great hubby Brett came over to help Rhett caring them in. That was a joke. We took the railing off to make the job easier. I have wanted new railing for a long time now here is my chance. lol They were having problems, the hide a bed kept falling open, then our neighbor and Rhett's best bud came over the help to. So thanks' a bunch Brett and Nick.

Now I am just thinking that I would love a weekend to do nothing. Here I come Amanda maybe I will come visit one of these weekend's. I'll leave Rhett and the kids here to miss me. I have to plan Haegen's Birthday party, Rhett's birthday (no party) Taylor's birthday party, Halloween costume's, and a few other things all with in 3 weeks of each other. Oh here comes the violin's to play me a sob song. Well I guess I better stop writing I think I am to tired to even think.

So if you talk to me and I am a total space case and can't think or comprehend anything, (huh Mandy, you know I can't even remember people's name's.:0) You will know why. Wish me luck.
