A Cute Haegen Story and Baby Carver

So I have a funny story about my sweet Haegen.... while we were in the car today he saw a cat running and he said "hey Nikki did you know that baby cat's are called mitten's?" Nikki started laughing and said "you mean Kitten's?" Haegan said "ohhh ya I mean Kitten's," and laughed at himself to. I thought is was so cute and I thought he would be mad and embarrassed, but no he just laughed at himself. Good for you Haegen I hope that you always have the ability to laugh at yourself. That is a good quality to have. We finally got some more pictures of baby Carver he is one month old. He is getting so big he already rolls over. He has changed so much. He is so cute.

Temple's and Rainbow's

Well today I was on my way to take my little Sister home after General Conference and saw this rainbow and thought what a great sign after a wonderful Conference. I have not seen a rainbow for so long, either I have not looked up and taken the time to "smell the roses" or there just hasn't been any noticeable. So then I wanted to drive by the Temple and see if I could get a picture with the rainbow and the Temple in the same frame, but I was a little late.
My kids were laughing at me wondering why I was so excited.... I don't know why I was, it must have just been icing on the cake after I enjoyed such a wonderful spirit while I was watching conference. Then I took a picture of the Temple, I just love our temple.

Old Picture's

So my life has been pretty boring.....BUSY but boring. I was thinking that I really don't have anything to blog about. I was on a roll there for a while but now I guess I have what you would call blogger block. Well I was going through some picture's today as I was watching General Conference, and these are a few of my favorite's.
This is Haegen and Braxton. Haegen was Six months and Braxton must have been Two. I think that they are so cute. Next we have Taylor, Haegen and Bryce sitting next to a bear. Don't worry there was a glass wall in between them, even that makes me nervous. Rhett's parent's took them to the fair or something 2 years ago, and yes those are spongebob square pajama pants that Bryce was wearing. What was I thinking letting him go out like that. I must have lost the fight that night.
Now we have uggggh me and my 15 year long best friend Joey. Bet not to many people can say that they have had a best friend for that long. I know I am super lucky to have such a kindred spirit to put up with me all these years. Holy Cow was my hair really that long? This picture was taken 3 year's ago.
Now one of many picture's Taylor got to take with her Daddy and his deer. She was three years old, and don't you just love the Blue's Clues pj's?? She was ready for bed when dad called to have us come look at the deer. Wow Rhett looks like a baby.
Family Fun. This was at my little Brother's wedding reception a year and a half ago. Left to Right. Me, my cousin Lacie, my Sister Amanda, and my Uncle Eric. What a fun group. No really I think we laughed all night. That is not hard to do when crazy Uncle Eric is around though.
Love ya guys.
Well there is my trip down memory lane. It was fun for me.

Be Thankful

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I would marry you.'One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend. He asked her,'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying:
'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine."
This is how the human brain often works when our status changes. Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.
Life Is a GiftToday before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.
Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early to heaven.
Before whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and think: you're alive and still around

Bryce and The Corn Maze

So today I got to go on Bryce's field trip to the corn maze with him. It was lot's of fun, but hot and a long drive. Here Bryce is listening to the lady.I could not get him away from feeding the goats he loves animals.
Climbing around getting ready to go down the slide.
Down the slide.

Down the other slide and yes he has to do it the dare devil way.
Now he is off to find the perfect pumpkin.
Found it.
Bryce is sitting on the tractor wagon getting ready to head back to the fun stuff.
Yeah!!!!! We made it through the maze alive and trust me our group got lost alot. All the kids were hot and tired and ready to go home. Bryce fell asleep on the bus and I should have got a picture of him but I didn't. Probably because I was so tired my self.
We had a good day together. Rhett was off today so he got Haegen off to school, so that was good for me not to have to worry (to much) lol.
